Plain English summary: We use essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in, your cookie choice, and checkout. Optional analytics stay off unless you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings. Learning preferences are saved in your account. We do not use advertising cookies.

Section 1

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how people use their sites.

Alongside cookies, we may also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. In this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".

Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies — temporary files deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies — files that stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
  • First-party cookies — set directly by DailySkillAI.
  • Third-party cookies — set by external services we use, such as Google or our analytics provider.
Section 2

What cookies we use

We distinguish essential browser storage from optional analytics. The categories below include cookies and local storage.

🔒 Essential storage
Always on

Supports sign-in, remembers your cookie choice, and resumes a payment you started. Blocking it can prevent those functions from working.

📊 Analytics storage
Optional

Where product analytics are enabled, they help us understand feature usage. Analytics require your consent and can be turned off without affecting learning or payments.

Section 3

Essential cookies and browser storage

Supabase sign-in session
Required for sign-in

Supabase stores the session used after Google Sign-In. Session cookies can be split into numbered parts, are refreshed while you use the service, and are cleared on sign-out. Cookie lifetime and session validity are also controlled by the authentication provider.

Sign-in verification
Sign-in flow

Temporary verification state links the start of your sign-in to the callback from the authentication provider. It is used to complete that sign-in securely.

Cookie consent record
Local storage · 365 days

Stores your analytics choice, the time you chose it, and its expiry. It expires after 365 days and is removed when the app next checks it. We then ask again. Old choices without an expiry also require a fresh choice.

sp_cookie_consent
Pending checkout
Local storage · Up to 24 hours

Remembers a Razorpay or PayPal checkout you started so the app can reconcile the result when you return. It stores checkout references, not card details. Records are removed after completion or when an expired record is next checked.

Section 4

Learning preferences

Your preferred language, learning tracks, and daily learning settings are stored with your account in Supabase. The current app does not set separate optional language, active-track, or interface-preference cookies.

You can change these preferences in account settings or Manage learning tracks. Clearing browser storage signs you out but does not delete learning preferences or progress held in your account.

Section 5

Optional analytics

Where optional product analytics are enabled, we use Mixpanel to measure feature usage and improve the platform. The integration does not start tracking before a valid analytics choice is saved. Refusing or withdrawing consent stops further analytics events.

Analytics use browser identifiers, which are pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous. We do not use this integration for advertising, account-linked profiles, automatic input capture, or session recordings.

Mixpanel browser identifier
Optional local storage

Created only when the analytics integration is enabled and your choice permits it. Stored analytics identifiers are cleared when you withdraw consent or the app detects expired consent. You can also remove them through browser settings.

Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not automatically erase events already sent to the provider. Contact us using the Privacy Policy request process if you want to ask about those records.

Section 6

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on DailySkillAI are set by third-party services we use. We do not control these cookies — they are governed by the relevant third party's own policies.

Google Sign-In
Required for login

When you authenticate using Google Sign-In, Google sets cookies on your device to manage the authentication flow. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control or have access to these cookies beyond the authentication token they produce.

Payment processor
Required for payment

When you subscribe to Premium, Razorpay, Stripe, or PayPal may set cookies during the payment flow to prevent fraud and process your transaction securely. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Cloudflare
Security

Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may set a cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. This protects DailySkillAI from abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any advertising networks, retargeting tools, or social media tracking pixels. We do not share data with advertisers.

Section 7

How to control cookies

Use Cookie settings in the website footer or account settings to reopen your choice. Choose Essential Only to withdraw analytics consent, or Accept All to allow optional analytics. Each saved choice lasts 365 days. You can also control and delete storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or checkout from working.

Section 8

Do Not Track

Our optional analytics integration remains off when your browser sends Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC), even if you previously selected Accept All. These signals do not disable essential sign-in and checkout functions. You can always choose Essential Only in Cookie settings.

Section 9

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or third-party services that use cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the site.
